The deadline for the Seventh Annual Oregon Wild Outdoor Photo Contest is September 15th. Send us your photos and find out more about the contest here. As usual, we’re accepting photos in four main categories: wildlands, wildlife, waters, and endangered places. There’s also a special youth contest. We’re giving away fantastic prizes in each category including a $250 gift certificate at Pro Photo Supply and much more! Enter your photos and win today.

Over the years, Oregon Wild has partnered with a lot of businesses and other organizations that share our values. One of those organizations is Newspace Center for Photography. Located in Southeast Portland, Newspace is a non-profit focused on promoting photography education and appreciation.

Photographs are a great way for us to demonstrate the importance of protecting Oregon’s diverse and beautiful landscapes. From Sept 30th-Oct 2nd, Newspace is offering a photo field trip eastern Oregon's Blue Basin and the Painted Hills. Click here to learn more.

While this trip is after the deadline to submit photographs to the Oregon Wild Photo Contest, it’s still a great opportunity to explore and photograph a unique landscape.

And don't forget - the deadline for the Seventh Annual Oregon Wild Outdoor Photo Contest is September 15th.
