What do Oregon's Wilderness bills look like in graphical form?
It's all the rage recently online: graphically representing text in a way that communicates information and at the same time makes navigation easier.
Huh? You might be saying. Think of it as a weighted list, where words or ideas that are more relevant, used more frequently, or stand out based on some preset criteria will appear more prominently when visually displayed. Check out a few examples on the "word cloud" wikipedia entry.
Well, having seen some pretty awesome examples of this over the last few days, I decided to see what Oregon's Wilderness bills look like when the text is plugged into a word cloud. These are all courtesy of wordle.net. Rather than give my own analysis for each of these, I'll let the word cloud do the talking and let you ponder what it all means.
