Give!Guide 2012 Incentives
List of incentives for donors to the 2012 Willamette Week Give Guide.
Studies show we support nonprofit organizations for three fundamental
reasons: we are committed to the cause, we have a friend or relative
who works there, or we have a larger commitment to philanthropy.
Willamette Week’s Give!Guide thinks there’s a fourth reason: Giving is an essential act of being a Portlander. That’s why this year we’ve created a special Portland citizenship badge for everyone who participates. We want you to be able to show you’re part of a greater community fabric—and are damn proud of it, too.
To encourage your generosity, we offer special incentives, as do many of the nonprofits. Depending on the amount of your gift, you may receive anything from a coupon good for a cup of your favorite Stumptown joe to a home-delivered package containing wine from the fine folks at A to Z Wineworks and prize-winning oatmeal from Bob’s Red Mill. See below for a more complete list.
Donate through Give!Guide here.

Please Note: If you would like your incentives to match your donation amount please make sure to make all of your donations at once.
Big Day Incentives
If you donate a minimum of $10 to any organization on one of these days, you have a chance to win one of these great incentives:
Nov. 15: A Salt & Straw ice-cream party.
Nov. 29: A pair of Shwood sunglasses.
Dec. 6: A 2013 VIP pass to Holocene.
Dec. 13: A case of distilled spirits from Rogue Distillery.
But, Wait There’s Still More!
G!G’s participating nonprofits have assembled tons of great stuff: KEEN shoes gift cards, free tours from Pedal Bike Tours, Trail Blazers tickets, Nail trims for your pet at St. Johns Veterinary Clinic, free oil change at Green Drop Garage, free TriMet bus passes, free overnight stay at the Heathman Hotel, free burritto at Laughing Planet, free biscuit at Pine State Biscuits, free round of golf at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club, or Tickets to the Oregon Ballet Theatre.
All manner of local companies have offered to match your donations. As best we can calculate, if all of them were met, that would add $377,672 to this year’s total. Make sure you take advantage of this easy way to double your giving.
