Hidden away on small pieces of
Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land and surrounded by clear-cuts are some of the oldest
and biggest trees in Oregon. Explore some of the hidden
treasures of the Coast Range southwest of Corvallis and learn about threats to BLM forests on this trip to some spectacular
old-growth stands. Hike is moderate, with some
off-trail, about 2 miles, and some elevation gain.
