A short trek to two waterfalls near Willamette Pass make this a rewarding beginner's trip!

Located in the Willamette National Forest. Beginner level. Slight elevation gain.

Winter blahs setting in? There's no cure like a trip to the mountains! Take in two stunning waterfalls and frolic in the snow on this rewarding 2.5 mile snowshoe hike for beginners near Willamette Pass and Salt Creek Falls.

If you've never been on a snowshoe hike before, this is the perfect opportunity to give it a try. Everyone interested in a nice hike is welcome - no matter your skill or fitness level.

Carpools will depart from Eugene. RSVP required.

Dog ate your snowshoes? Don't worry, REI and Berg's rent snowshoes in Eugene for less than $10. (Rent them on Friday because they don't open until 10am.)
