Some of Oregon's treasures recently came one step closer to permanent protection with introduction of legislation to protect Wilderness around Mt. Hood, Wild and Scenic tributaries of the Rogue River, and the Oregon Caves Monument. But Senator Smith's support is needed to keep the Rogue wild! Let him know we need his help to save the Wild Rogue!

We need to accept that in many areas throughout the region, past forest management may have set the stage for fires larger and more intense than have occurred in at least the last few hundred years.
