Hike wildflower-covered hills at a botanist’s pace with Oregon Wild’s naturalist Wendell Wood.  A complete plant species list will be provided.  As some hiking is cross country, minor contact with ticks or poison oak is to be expected. Please leave the next day open in case the hike is postponed due to significant rain.

Hood, Wild and Scenic tributaries of the Rogue River, and the Oregon Caves Monument. But Senator Smith's support is needed to keep the Rogue wild! Overheard...

I started out thinking of America as highways and state lines. As I got to know it better, I began to think of it as rivers. Most of what I love about the country is a gift of the rivers. . . . America is a great story, and there is a river on every page of it.
