A great hike for families! The distance to the lake is just over one mile and you’ll be rewarded with a stunning old-growth forest and a lake teeming with salamanders. We're excited to get out there and check out a beautiful alpine lake and some majestic old-growth trees.

This area was also recently protected as Wilderness and can now be enjoyed by future generations of Oregonians just as you will enjoy it.

(Please note: there must be at least one adult for every two kids).
