Celebrate Oregon Wild board member Jim Baker's long career as an environmental activist and volunteer at this special event.
A Lifetime of Wilderness:
A Celebration in honor of Jim Baker's retirement from Oregon Wild's Board of Directors
A founding member of Oregon Wild, Jim has served on our Board for nearly our entire history. Not one to sit idly by when issues concern him, he has also served as President of the McKenzie Guardians for over 30 years, has been a member of the Oregon League of Conservation Voters (OLCV) Lane County Steering Committee, and has been actively involved in community development in the McKenzie/Blue River area.
After such a long and dedicated career serving Oregon Wild's mission, we can't blame him for retiring now that he's in his 80s. Join us in celebrating his lifetime commitment to the wild Oregon he loves!
Enjoy good food, beverages, music by the Slow Ponies, and the company of other Oregon Wild (and Jim Baker) supporters!
When: Sunday, November 4, Noon-3:00pm
Where: Mount Pisgah Arboretum - White Oak Pavilion. 34901 Frank Parrish Road, Eugene, OR
Who: Oregon Wild supporters, board members, and staff; Jim's family, friends, and admirers.
