Sky in the Road

Sky in the Road is the performing name of the musical team of Daniel Rhiger and Rahmana Wiest. A dynamic duo of songwriters with award winning credentials, Sky in the Road creates music with an organic feel that reflects their unique native Oregonian perspective. They describe their music as folk-based winding its way through Americana, country, Celtic,
world folk, gypsy jazz, new age, rock, reggae and more. Known for their tight, soaring vocal harmonies Sky in the Roadthey fill out their sound with a variety of instrumentation including 6 and 12 string guitar, Irish bouzouki, and East Indian harmonium.

Rahmana and Daniel have been active supporters of Oregon Wild for many years. In addition to offering their musical talents in support of numerous environmental and social justice causes they spent eight years performing in schools using music to entertain and educate children about environmental issues.
