Enjoy this free presentation on the Bureau of Land Management's move to eliminate old-growth and streamside reserves in Western Oregon.
Oregon’s spectacular public forests provide clean drinking water, beautiful places to recreate, and jobs in management, fire safety and tourism. Due to a back-room deal with the timber industry, over 2 million acres of western Oregon’s public forests - managed by the Bureau of Land Management - are at risk. Protections for ancient forests are currently being dismantled under a management plan revision process. Learn why these forests are worth protecting, and how you can get involved in the campaign to keep them standing.
