The Bureau of Land Management's (BLM's) whopper plan revision will increase old-growth logging seven-fold over the next 10 years. Come learn about WOPR in Eugene and how you can get involved to permanently protect some of Oregon's special forests.
Join Oregon Wild, co-sponsors Cascadia Wildlands Project, and concerned community members for a presentation about Oregon's threatened old-growth forests.
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and Bush administration has proposed to open up old-growth and streamside reserves in western Oregon to clearcut logging under a process called the Western Oregon Plan Revision (WOPR). Come learn about what is at stake and how you can get involved to permanently protect these forests that make Oregon so special.
Free public presentation.
