Climb through the Black Creek Canyon for waterfalls, old-growth forests, and finally to the shores of stunning Waldo Lake.
Difficulty: Moderate to difficult
Distance: 7.5 miles round trip

Enter the spectacular Waldo Lake Wilderness from the west and climb past beautiful Lillian Falls, through spectacular ancient forest and high elevation huckleberry thickets to reach the shores of Waldo Lake in Klovdahl Bay. Learn about the history, trials, and tribulations of this pristine lake and witness the remnants of a failed tunnel that would have altered it forever.
