Come see for yourself what all the fire fuss is about. Experience the magic of natural post-fire forest succession in the mysterious Kalmiopsis wilderness area. We will be traversing a glacial cirque and dropping down to it's geologic product, famous Babyfoot lake. Eight years after the 2002 Biscuit fire, this 5.5 mile loop offers users a first hand glimpse into an invaluable laboratory with a turbulent geologic and contemporary history.
