Ever want to know what the Oregon Coast Range was like before so much of it was logged and replaced with tree farms? Here’s your chance! The proposed Devil’s Staircase Wilderness is one of the most rugged, wild, and mysterious places left in the Coast Range – with towering trees, a jungle of underbrush, and wildlife galore. Not for the faint of heart or weak of legs – this hike is a rugged, off-trail experience, though it will NOT go to the Devil’s Staircase waterfall itself.

Sign up for the hike here. (Oregon Wild members ($6) and non-members ($9). All proceeds from hikes support Oregon Wild’s campaigns to protect wildlands across the state.)
