Explore the wilderness in Eugene’s backyard! The Hardesty Mountain roadless area is the largest to be found within an hour of Eugene. The hike to Mount June winds through a diverse native forest to a lovely view. Riding the divide between the Middle and Coast Forks of the Willamette River, the ridge connecting Mount June to Hardesty Mountain is a wonderful place to enjoy rocky meadows surrounding Sawtooth Rock. Carpools will depart from Eugene.
