Explore the spectacular Wild and Scenic Rogue River canyon’s unique geography, plants, and wildlife.
Difficulty: Moderate
Distance: 5-7 miles round trip

Location: Medford BLM lands west of Grants Pass
Hike into proposed Wilderness along the spectacular Lower Rogue River. Enjoy diverse wild forests, extraordinary wildlife viewing and clear creeks tumbling into the mighty Rogue. Threatened on many fronts, the wild lands and waters of the Rogue are ripe for protection, and well worth the drive into Oregon’s outback!
Carpools will depart from Eugene or Grants Pass or folks will meet at the trailhead.
