Salmon-Huckleberry Wilderness Area
(Moderate, 6 miles, 500’ - 700’ elevation gain)
Explore old-growth forests along the Salmon River and scenic vistas of the river valley. This canyon was once considered as an alternative to the current Highway 26 and was designated as Wilderness by Congress in 1984.
