Visit beautiful Mirror Lake – adjacent to recent additions to the Salmon-Huckleberry Wilderness.
Join Oregon Wild’s Wildlands Interpreter Wendell Wood for a slow-going exploration through a lovely forest to Mirror Lake with lovely wildflower-surrounded small meadows and rocky outcrops.
A plant list will be provided.
At the trailhead, we will cross the footbridge over Camp Creek and then climb gradually for 1.3 miles to Mirror Lake. We will also continue a short ways beyond the lake, toward Tom, Dick and Harry Mountain for more views of the Zigzag Valley and Mt. Hood before circling, and having lunch at the lake.
