Wendell Wood's leisurely-paced natural history hikes in the Columbia Gorge fill up fast, so be sure to RSVP early! (Moderate, 4 miles, 500 ft elev. gain)

Join Oregon Wild's famed naturalist Wendell Wood for a hike exploring wildflower-covered hills at a botanist’s pace with Oregon Wild’s naturalist Wendell Wood.

The hike is moderate, four miles and gains approximately 500 feet in elevation.  Please note this hike is leisurely-paced for plant identification. A complete plant species list will be provided.  As some hiking is cross country, minor contact with ticks or poison oak is to be expected.

Space is limited to 15 participants. RSVP with your name, phone number and email to: hikes@gorgefriends.org or 503.241.3762 x 103.

Please leave the next day open in case the hike is postponed due to significant rain.

Carpools will depart at 8:30 a.m. from the Wild Oats parking lot at 2825 E Burnside, Portland.
