A spring walk along Sweet Creek, in the Central Coast Range near Mapleton and Florence, reminds you of how
close western Oregon is to being a rain forest. Discover
this beautiful creek, its many waterfalls, and colorful wildflowers on this
family-friendly hike. If we have time, we’ll also visit one of the Coast Range’s last remaining old-growth
forests. Hike is easy to moderate, about
2 miles, small elevation gain.
