Take in the view from the 7,360 summit of The Twins, including Waldo Lake and many surrounding peaks. The trail begins with a gradual ascent towards the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT), and then climbs as it passes through dry mountain hemlock and lodgepole pine forests with areas of exposed rock and boulders.
(Difficulty: strenuous, 6.6 miles round trip, 1,600 foot elevation gain/loss)
