Check out the flowers and plants that will soon be living in a Wilderness area on this stroll through the Columbia Gorge with Wendell Wood.

Join Oregon Wild naturalist Wendell Wood for this extremely slow-paced hike amongst classic waterfalls in what could be described the most diverse and scenic part of the entire Columbia River Gorge!  Enjoy misty old-growth forests and mossy cliffs that line a deep basalt canyon as you learn forest ecology and to identify late spring/early summer wildflowers. Plant list provided.  This will be a very slow go hike with major emphasis placed (more than usually) on plant and wildflower identification. Please leave the next day open in case the hike is postponed due to significant rain.
