The 2008 Oregon Wild Summer will end with a bang at Waldo Lake where we will revive an Oregon Wild tradition.

Waldo Lake once played host to a yearly Oregon Wild gathering of activists and folks who just plain loved the wild places of Oregon. This year, we are bringing the camp-out back, complete with a whole host of characters from years past and a full docket of fun events.
Camp Out Events include:
- expert led hikes around the lake
- water activities led by Oregon River Sports
- kids activities
- music around the campfire by local artist Laura Kemp
- a delicious catered meal on Saturday night (with non-alcoholic beverages) provided by Eugene's Cornucopia.
- keynote speaker Pete Sorenson, Lane County Commissioner and former legal representative for Oregon Wild
- a photography workshop with Roger Dorband
- more workshops TBA
- tons of fun!!
Bring the whole family, because the Waldo Lake Camp Out is sure to be a great time for all ages. Come celebrate Oregon's wild places at one of our pristine treasures.
Tickets for the event include two nights' camping (Friday and Saturday night) a catered meal on Saturday, and access to all the fun hikes and activities. (Oregon Wild will help to facilitate carpools from Eugene and Portland).
Ticket prices:
- Adult Oregon Wild member ($40)
- Adult non Oregon Wild member ($50 - ticket purchase includes special 6-month membership)
- Youth ages 6-16 ($10)
- Children 5 and younger (FREE)

Check-in is no sooner than 2:00 pm on Friday, September 19 and check-out is no later than Sunday, September 21. Attendees are responsible for all meals and drinks other than Saturday night's catered communal dinner.
