Oregon Wild Summer

Find your wild.

Adventure is out there with Oregon Wild Summer 2016!

Welcome to a wild summer - an Oregon Wild Summer to be exact. It's a summer-long exploration of all the special wild areas that make Oregon unique. This year there's even more wild summer to be had with adventures offered by Oregon Wild. The festivities kick off Saturday, June 4th with a Eugene-area brewshed® hike and will run throughout the summer.

These hikes and events will venture into proposed Wilderness areas around Crater Lake and Lookout Mountain in the Ochocos. Hikes will also head to long-time Wilderness favorites like Opal Creek and Mount Hood.

All hikes are led by expert conservationists or dedicated volunteers and are free of charge (with a suggested donation). All trips will be led or shepherded by First-Aid and CPR trained staff or volunteers.

And if you happen to snap the perfect picture on one of our hikes, enter it in our 12th annual Outdoor Photo Contest. We're always looking to reward a photographer who takes the perfect shot of the wild places that make our state so special.

Let's make it an Oregon Wild Summer. Sign up for Oregon Wild Summer events here and find your wild. Or check out the hike offerings by area below (late summer hikes will open for sign up in mid-July):
