Keep Waldo Lake wild! Waldo Lake is one of the purest lakes in the world, and a true gem of the Cascades. In 2010, after years of advocacy, the lake was finally protected from noisy and polluting gas motor use. But now, the rule that kept Waldo Lake clean and quiet might be revoked. Take action now to support protections for Waldo Lake!
Don’t clear-cut our forests to prop-up county budgets! Rep. Peter DeFazio – usually a champion for public lands protection – is proposing a scheme to liquidate vast tracts of western Oregon BLM forests. Write to Rep. DeFazio and the rest of Congress to let them know that allowing more clear-cuts on our public lands is a bad idea.
