Eyes on the Agencies

Up one level
Oregon Wild, in our traditional role as watchdog, keeping tabs on the U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, USFWS, NMFS, NOAA, FERC, BOR, and more.

Eyes on the AgenciesSince 1974, Oregon Wild has kept the federal, state, and local agencies that manage our public lands and wildlife honest. We've filed thousands of timber sale appeals, commented on every major (and minor) action plan from the U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and more. And we get results.

As the eyes and ears for our many grassroots supporters, we take our responsibility to protect and restore Oregon's wildlands, wildlife, and waters very seriously. Through experience, we've learned that the best way to improve government management of the natural resources we care about is to apply consistent pressure.

Below are our most recent efforts to use the public commenting system to improve management of our public lands.
