Although new studies reveal a previously unexpected, tremendous capacity of west coast forests to absorb CO2, this new scientific understanding has not yet been transformed into public policy. Panelists will present a synopsis of this research and analyses and discuss proposed policy changes that would elevate carbon-oriented forest management as a climate solution.
